THE BASE Anniversary Cake is a set of a 15 cm whole cake and a bouquet. Using seasonal fruit and Karuizawa flowers and greenery, we make each one after hearing who it’s for and what you want to say. Please order by 3 business days before pick-up.

Hospitality handed down from Kutsukake-juku.
Naka-Karuizawa was once a post town called Kutsukake-juku: a place where travellers stopped, rested, met people, and set off on new journeys.
THE BASE wants to carry on that post-town spirit.
